When I was about five my parents saved a rabbit from the local meat market. I named it Muffin, only to figure out later that Muffin was indeed a male. One day Muffin was out and about, doing his bunny sniffing, stretching his thumping legs when I distinctly remember getting the urge to capture him in pencil. Since then my pencil and I are inseperable. I finally made up my mind to pursue the arts at the end of my high school years and went on to graduate college with a BFA from Rowan University.
I am a true mutt of German, Irish, Scottish and English heritage. My favorite book is Watership Down with The Last Unicorn and Howls Moving Castle following closely behind. My favorite artist is hands down, without a doubt Lisbeth Zwerger.
I want to thank my Mom, Dad, brother and sister for letting me be myself. Also Dr. Hottle for being wonderful, Stephen Labadessa for teaching me how to paint, Bryan and Nancy Ohanian for being great teachers. Thanks!
